Alderney Landing (Outside of market area)
Join ice sculptor extraordinaire, Richard Chiasson for an inside look into the process of ice carving! Richard has been carving ice sculptures around Canada and the US for over 40 years and is filled with expertise. Join us for a morning of demos, explanation, and the creation of a sculpture!

Carving Begins
​Nova Scotia Power Illuminated Sculpture Garden & East Coast Credit Union (155 Ochterloney Street)
The Nova Scotia Power Illuminated Sculpture Garden on the Dartmouth Waterfront will have large carvings throughout the festival for folks to be amazed by. There will be an ice throne carved - perfect for a chance to feel the ice and snap a photo! Carvers will begin carving these sculptures throughout the day on Friday. Carving will begin around 10am. There will also be live carving at East Coast Credit Union ( 155 Ochterloney Street).
Support for Culture Igloo DJ Party
Dartmouth Ferry Terminal Park 6PM-8PM
Enjoy DJ tunes from an amazing lineup of DJs in our new 40 foot igloo! This disco themed dance party as the sun falls and the ice sculptures are illuminated in Ferry Terminal Park. Enjoy artists DJ DOUVET Featuring Mads and Thau from the PQP Collective.

An evening of inspiring local music performed by talented young rising stars, hosted by Katie Kelly.

Meet Bluey and Bingo
Alderney Landing Theatre
Bluey and Bingo will be joining us for a meet and greet on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. You will be able to say g'day to the Heeler sisters in the Alderney Landing Theatre from 6pm-8pm and noon-4pm on Saturday and Sunday.
Please note that they will be taking breaks periodically throughout the day.
