Downtown Dartmouth Ice Festival

A heartwarming celebration of local love!

Come to downtown Dartmouth on Saturday, Feb. 9 for free activities, all-ages fun, and special offers in support of United Way!
Walk around to see more than a dozen ice sculptures created by visiting and local artists (Portland Street and King’s Wharf.) See live sculpting take place during the event!

Here’s more about the event:

  • Music and entertainment, including a pop-up choir experience led by The Big Sing and performances by JODY Upshaw and Scott Saccary Music (corner of Prince & Portland Streets)- By-donation hot chocolate (various locations to be announced)

    United Way Halifax #UNIGNORABLE art exhibit (46 Portland Street)

    – Food, drink and retail specials at local restaurants, cafes, and shops all over Downtown Dartmouth!

    – Warming stations set up at Prince and Portland Streets

    – Get your photo taken with our Ice Princess Mascots

    96.5 The Breeze will be on site to provide music during the event

    DETAILS ON THE LIVE ENTERTAINMENT:
    The stage will be set up on Prince and Portland Streets.

    4pm The Big Sing Halifax will perform “Let It Go!” from the movie Frozen. Feel free to sing along!

    4:45pm Jody Upshaw – Don’t miss this 15-year-old R&B sensation!

    5:30pm Scott Saccary – Singer/songwriter and co-owner of the New Scotland Empire
